About Lennie

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Lennie Disanto’s journey into the arts began at the early age of eight when he joined his school choir and quickly rose to lead singer. By age ten, he had developed a natural ear for music, teaching himself to play the piano on a salvaged keyboard, recreating melodies by ear. This early dedication led to a remarkable performance at the prestigious Center of Fine Arts in Puerto Rico by age eleven and an invitation to join the acclaimed Children’s Choir of San Juan. His burgeoning talent soon brought him to television, where he appeared in various programs as a young vocalist.

At fourteen, Lennie’s artistic range expanded as he taught himself commercial dance through studying music videos, going on to compete with routines he crafted independently. This dedication earned him a scholarship to the esteemed Broadway Dance Center in New York City at seventeen, followed by another prestigious scholarship to Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, Lennie honed his skills in Voice Performance and Music Production & Engineering, setting the stage for an extraordinary career in the music industry.

After graduating, Lennie joined Sony Music Entertainment in Miami as a Junior A&R, later establishing his own music production company, Viva La Vida Music. Under this banner, he collaborated with major industry clients such as HBO, Telemundo, and Universal McCann, showcasing his expertise in music production and his drive for creative excellence. Beyond production, Lennie performed as a backup singer for internationally renowned artists including Sam Smith, Andrea Bocelli, and Sting on prominent television shows like Saturday Night Live, The View, and Good Morning America.

Lennie’s performance credentials also span the world of TV and musical theater. He played the character "Miguel" on HereTV's series Gogo and was an original cast member in projects such as Viva La Musica by Jennifer Lopez’s choreographer Liz Imperio, Stage Struck by West End’s Karen Bruce, and Vallora by Danny Teeson. His writing talents were recognized with Soñadores, a musical TV series picked up by Telemundo, though ultimately shelved, further illustrating his versatility and creativity in both performance and production.

Now based in New York City, Lennie Disanto continues to evolve as a multi-faceted artist, pushing boundaries in music, dance, and theatrical production with a unique blend of vision and passion.
